EVANSDALE — Gertrude K. Pagenkopf, 91, of Centerville, formerly of Evansdale, died at home Friday, July 13, 2012.

She was born March 6, 1921, in Franklin County, daughter of George and Lena Bruns Knavel. She married Thomas T. Pagenkopf on Aug. 12, 1972, in Riceville.

Mrs. Pagenkopf worked at Weyerhaeuser Co., Austin, Minn., for 18 years, retiring in 1972.

Survived by: nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by three brothers: Henry, George and Jake Knavel; and a sister, Henrietta Krull.

Private family graveside services: will be held at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, Waterloo, is in charge of arrangements.
