WATERLOO — Rick A. Ott, 54, of Waterloo, died at home Monday, Aug. 20, 2012.

He was born Dec. 30, 1957, in Waterloo, son of John and Rosemarie Burgess Ott. He married Rebecca Aten on May 27, 2008, in Waterloo. Mr. Ott worked as a driver for Hawkeye Towing Co.

Survived by his wife; a son, Colton of Waterloo; two stepdaughters, Andrea Binger of Iowa City and Victoria Binger of Greenfi eld, Ind.; a grandson; and three brothers, Tim of La Porte City, Dennis (Marsha) of Denver and Steve of Washburn.

Preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no services or visitation. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
