Nathaniel M. LaBrie, 25, of New Orleans, LA, formerly of Denver, died Thursday August 16 at the Medical Center of Louisiana, New Orleans.

He was born November 3, 1986, in Waterloo; the son of Melinda Reuter Conry.

Nathaniel graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 2005. He was employed as a waiter/ caterer in the French Quarter, New Orleans.

Survivors include his mother, Melinda (Roger) Conry of Denver; three brothers: John LaBrie of Waterloo, Gabe LaBrie of Cedar Falls, and Matt Conry of Oelwein; three sisters: Melody LaBrie King of Cedar Falls, Michelle LaBrie of Cedar Falls, and Ecco (Matt) Schwartz of Waterloo. Nieces and nephews, Za’ah Dray LaBrie, Ella LaBrie, Noah LaBrie, Avery LaBrie King, Preston Conry, and Carter Schwartz.

Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Louis and Norma Reuter; a nephew, Conner Schwartz.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. Legion of Mary rosary and 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also one hour prior to services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
