WATERLOO — Marjorie G. Hippen, 83, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012 at Allen Hospital.

She was born June 14, 1929, in Waterloo, daughter of Leo and Mae Funk Turner. She married Raymond
Hippen on March 13, 1949, in Waterloo.

Survived by her husband; a son, David (Linda) of Lincoln, Neb.; three daughters: Lorna (Ken) Humbertson of St Louis, Sherry Louis of Cedar Falls and Jeanette (Fred) Mertens of Early, Texas; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beulah Hoofnagle of Lansing.

Preceded in death by a son, Harvey; and a brother, Lloyd Turner.

Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today and an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
