CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Jean C. Clifton, 92, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, June 4, 2012, at ManorCare Health Services, Waterloo.

She was born October 2, 1919, in Passaic, New Jersey, daughter of Phillip and Mary Zarkowski Macicuk. She married Thomas L. Clifton Sr. on June 29, 1946, in Washington, D.C., and they later divorced.

Ms. Clifton was employed as merchandise buyer and sales associate for 20 years with Victoria Room, Waterloo, retiring in 2008. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas of Northlake, Texas, and Bradley (Janice) of Seattle; a daughter, Kyna White of Anchorage, Alaska; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Clifton; a brother, Anthony Macicuk; and three sisters, Mae, Josephine and Joan.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Waterloo, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
