CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Katheryn E. Rolfes, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

She was born December 12, 1929, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd and Verna E. Stafford. She married William G. Rolfes in 1957 at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. He died June 25, 2007. Mrs. Rolfes was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Richard "Rick" and Joseph W. (Teresa), both of Waterloo; a grandson, Nathan (Megan) Rolfes of Evansdale; two great-grandchildren, Samone and Frankie Rolfes; and two sisters, Esther Gann of Waterloo and Karen "Lee" Spear of Hollister, Missouri.

Katheryn was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and David Stafford.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, preceded by two hours of visitation, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, both in Waterloo.

Katheryn enjoyed crocheting, reading the newspaper and spending time with her family.
