CEDAR FALLS — Emily A. Carlson, 36, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2012 at her home.

She was born Dec. 21, 1975, in Cedar Falls, daughter of George and Mary Jane Hursh. She married Shawn L. Carlson July 25, 1998, in Cedar Falls.

She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1994, and attended Hawkeye Community College.

Survived by her husband; two sons, Austin and Aaron, both of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Abigail and Adalie, both of Cedar Falls; her parents of Cedar Falls; and a brother, John Hursh of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Analeigh Jane Carlson; her paternal grandparents, Richmond and Marie Hursh; and her maternal grandparents, John and Rosemary Britt.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial in Washington Chapel Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls, with a 7:30 p.m. Scripture service. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

A memorial fund has been established.
