EVANSDALE — Billie D. Paine, 71, of Evansdale, died Monday, July 30, 2012 at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

He was born Jan. 4, 1941, in Nora Springs, son of Elbertis “Bert” and Fannie Mae Hoag Paine. He married Sharon McCoy in Waterloo and she preceded him in death. He married Barbara Anderson on June 6, 1981, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Evansdale.

Mr. Paine was employed at John Deere as a machinist, then also at Paine RV.

Survived by his wife; a brother, Barrie of Dillion, Colo.; and a sister, Bettie Anton of Marion.

Preceded in death by two sons, Sean and Eric; two brothers, Bobbie and Bruce; and a sister, Bonnie Aldridge.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, Waterloo, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
