Elizabeth R. Krause, age 78, of Waterloo, Iowa, died on Thursday November 23, 2006 at Friendship Village Medical Center, of natural causes. She was born January 14, 1928, in Waterloo, the daughter of Raymond and Nell (Thompson) Addington.

She married Donald E. Krause on May 22, 1949, in Waterloo. He died on January 22, 1992. Elizabeth graduated from Waterloo West High School. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Scott (Dixie) Krause and Todd (Marcia) Krause, all of Tucson, Arizona; two daughters, Julie Krause of Waterloo, and Sally (Phill) Cobb, of Miamisburg, Ohio; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a brother, Robert (Marie) Addington, of Sun City, Arizona.

She was preceded by her parents; a sister, Martha Jean Hammel; and two brothers; James and William Richard Addington.

Memorial services will be on Friday, December 1, 2006, at Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with inurnment in Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m Thursday, at the funeral home. Visitation for an hour before services on Friday.
