ELK RUN HEIGHT, IOWA - Kathryn L. Hagen 68 of Elk Run Heights died Monday at Covenant Medical Center, from complications of cancer. She was born December 11, 1937, in Nashua, Iowa, the daughter of Arnold G. and Olive (Milligan) Usher.

She married John E. Hagen on July 3, 1958, in Charles City. They were later divorced. Kathryn was a graduate of Charles City High School. She worked in the Waterloo area as a waitress and then as a health care aide at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and at Covenant Medical Center for the last fifteen years.

Survivors include two sons, Steven A. (Rosalee), of Jesup, and Daniel J. (Terri), of Evansdale; three daughters: Lori A.(David) Warneka, of Waterloo, Joylynn E. Hagen, of Elk Run Heights, and Korrie D. (Brian) Fisher, of Dunkerton; a special friend Denise J. Conaway of Elk Run Heights; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Gary (Becky) Usher, of Milwaukee Wisconsin; one sister, Marlys (Ed) Karr, of Illinois.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Dill.

Services will be held on Thursday at Heartland Vineyard Church, Cedar Falls, under the auspices of Countryside Vineyard Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery Nashua. Public visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service. Visitation will also continue for one hour before services at the church on Thursday.
