Lois D. Holland, 88, of Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, died there Monday, July 2. 2007

She was born August 9, 1918 in Thornburg, daughter of Claude and Clara Trager Dawson. She married Robert E. Holland November 8, 1939. He died in 1962.

Lois was employed with Berg & Berg Drug Store for over 30 years, until her retirement.

Survivors include a daughter, Julie (Craig) Scarbrough of Waterloo and a special friend, Quintin Fideler of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by five brothers, Arden, Max, Virgil, Bernard and Jack Dawson.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Hagarty–Waychoff–Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in McFarland Cemetery, What Cheer.

Public visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family.
