WATERLOO - Anne Marie Schultz, 96, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, May 8, at Thornton Manor, Lansing.

She was born Jan. 31, 1916, in Waterloo, daughter of John Jr. and Elizabeth Jawarski Chasky. She married Vern Schultz on Dec. 7, 1949, in Austin, Minn. He died July 24, 1987.

Mrs. Schultz worked at her father's ice cream/variety store, Annie's Fountain, for 20 years.

Survived by a brother, John Chasky Jr. of Traer.

Preceded in death by six sisters: Mary Baugher, Teresa Probert, Catherine Bean, Betty Bradfield, Rose Schauer and Pearl Mullen.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, preceded by two hours of visitation. Burial will be in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
