WATERLOO, IOWa — Greg W. Kollmann, 23, of Traer, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, May 4, 2012, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born October 17, 1988, in Waterloo, son of Randy Sr. and Denise Schreiber Kollmann. He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 2007 and had been employed with Standard Industrial Tooling since 2007.

Survived by his father and step-mother, Randy Sr. and Vicky Kollmann of Elk Run Heights; his mother and stepfather, Denise and Kent George of Waterloo; his paternal grandmother, Wanda Kollmann of Waterloo; his girlfriend, Ashley Flege of Traer; a brother, Randy Jr. (Nicole Saul) of Waterloo; a nephew, Randy Kollmann III of Waterloo; three stepsisters, Jessica George, Megan (George) Landkamer and Nicole George, all of Columbus, Nebraska; three step-nieces; and a step-nephew.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; and his maternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, where visitation begins at 9 a.m.

Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup is in charge of arrangements.

Two-car accident on the corner of Kimball Avenue and Schrock Road. Kollmann, who was traveling south on Kimball was killed as a result of the injuries sustained being thrown from the vehicle.
