WATERLOO - Doris Moses, 80, of 415 Peek St., died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born May 12, 1932, in Durant, Miss., daughter of Jim and Mary Moore Montgomery. She married James “Lefty” Moses on June 12,1949, in Waterloo. He died July 1, 2007.

She is survived by a daughter, Marketa (Allen) Woods of Waterloo; four sons, Neal (Cheryl) of Cedar Falls and Jerry (Shirley), Ricky and Tim (Sue), all of Waterloo; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Eula Lee Williams, Mentha Lee Alexander and Laura Mae Simmons; and four brothers, J.C., Dean, Steve and Bilbo Montgomery.

Funeral services will be Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church, where visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today. Sanders Funeral Service is assisting the family.

Memorials may be directed to the family at 415 Peek St., where they will receive friends.
