CEDAR FALLS — Jean Marie Williams, 79, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home from breast cancer.

She was born Aug. 28, 1932, in Los Angeles, daughter of Jesse and Marie Edgar Roberson. She married Paul Acquisto Jr. on Feb. 6, 1956, in Lynnwood, Calif., and they later divorced. She married Larry C. Williams on June 30, 1972, in Waterloo, and they later divorced.

Mrs. Williams was employed with Viking Pump as a secretary/receptionist, becoming the voice of Viking Pump, retiring in 1994. She was then employed with Black Hawk Hotel as a desk clerk and also a bus ticket agent for six years.

Survived by her husband, Michael Ervin; a daughter, Janet Anderson of Waterloo; a grandson, Jared Anderson of Waterloo; and a sister, Beverly Seymour of La Marada, Calif.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Rob Roberson and Don Dillis; and a sister, Virginia Clark.

Family directed memorial services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Bible Church, with inurnment in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.

Jean loved to travel, especially by the ocean. She enjoyed sporting and theater events. She took an interest in the community and loved to play darts and do crossword puzzles. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She had a gentle, beautiful spirit.
