WATERLOO, IOWA — Constance “Connie” Moore-Anderson, 79, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, June 20, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born September 29, 1932, in Waterloo, daughter of James Anderson Sr. and Mary Thompson. She married James Moore July 15, 1951, in Waterloo. He died in 1999. She was employed at Waterloo Industries.

Survived by a daughter, Julia Jackson of Waterloo; a son, Craig Moore of Richfield, Minn.; a sister, Marcella Bell of Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two sons, Alan Moore and Andrew Moore; a brother, James Anderson; and a sister, Helen Day; and a grandson, Alan Moore Jr.

Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the church, and also for an hour before services Tuesday at the church. Sanders Funeral Service is assisting the family.

Memorials may be directed to the family at 411 Argile St., Waterloo, where they will be receiving friends.
