WATERLOO — Daniel Morrison, 66, of Waterloo, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at Allen Hospital.

He was born Aug. 24, 1945, in Lodi, Ohio, son of Robert and Margaret Morrison. He married Lita Ann Fritts on Jan. 9, 1993.

Mr. Morrison graduated from Massillon High School, Massillon, Ohio, and had worked with his father as a plasterer from 1966 to 2000. He was a member of Virden Creek Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Survived by his wife; two sons, John (Karena) of Clearwater, Fla., and Paul of Florida; a daughter, Kelly (Howard) Heinzman of Seminole, Fla.; nine grandchildren; a brother, Maynard (Sheila) of Brooksville, Fla.; and two sisters, Phyllis (Harold) Baysinger of Massillon and Sylvia ( Denny) Coyne of Fort Wayne, Ind.

Preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Edie Morrison; a brother, Richard; and a sister, Eunice Gise.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 55 Newell St., Waterloo. Cremation Society of Iowa, Cedar Rapids, assisted the family.
