CEDAR FALLS — Edith M. Myers Stutt, 92, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at NewAldaya Lifescapes.

She was born April 2, 1920, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Peter and Esther Jorgensen Therkelsen. She married Edward Myers on May 10, 1946, in Cedar Falls. He died May 10, 1976. She later married John Stutt on June 4, 1994, in Cedar Falls. He died April 12, 2000.

Mrs. Stutt was a graduate of Cedar Falls High School and worked at Rath Packing Co., Waterloo, for 32 years, retiring in 1982.

Survived by a son, Peter (Kathy) Myers of Waterloo; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by a brother, John Therkelsen.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to Nazareth Lutheran Church or Cedar Bend Humane Society.
