Former Rockford resident, Harlow Vincent Searle, 80, of Cedar Falls, died on Wednesday, September 22, 1993 at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center.

He lived in Rockford through his high school years and attended the University of Iowa where he graduated from the College of Pharmacy. He spent 50 years as a pharmacist in Iowa and also was a 50-year member of the Masons in Rockford.

He was the son of Lyle and Claire (Sagent) Searle. Lyle was the head of the depot in Rockford for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Lorayne (Bolton) Searle, of Cedar Falls, one daughter, Arlayne Searle of Syracuse, New York, two sons, Dennis of Minneapolis and Larry of Edmonds, Washington.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lyle.

Funeral services were held Saturday in Cedar Falls.
