WATERLOO, IOWA - Orville Floyd Lynch, 75, of Winnemucca, Nevada, and formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, March 21, in Winnemucca, of natural causes.

He was born December 12, 1936, in Waterloo, son of Orville and Linda K. Wolff Lynch.

Mr. Lynch served in the U.S. Air Force, where he became an air traffic controller and later earned his pilot's license. After his discharge he moved to Winnemucca and began working for the Southern Pacific Railroad; he later drove a truck for various gold mines.

Survived by three sisters, Delores Paulson of Denver, Colo., and June (Art) Mulnix and Betty (Dick) Murley, both of Waterloo; 12 nieces and nephews; 25 great-nieces and nephews; more than 25 great-great-nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Floyd enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a passion for airplanes and flying.
