STOLER, SISCO, BUCK, HAWK, VANDE, DAVENPORT, METZGER

Christian L. Stoler, 63, of 629 East Fourth street, died at 5:40 p. m. Sunday in Schoitz Memorial Hospital of carcinoma.

Stoler was born Jan. 26, 1888, at Mt. Joy, Pa., the son of Harry and Eva Stoler. He lived in Ottumwa and Oskaloosa before coming to Waterloo in 1930. He had been employed at Rath Packing Co., and for the past year had been engineer at the Hotel Ellis.

He married Eunice Sisco in Oskaloosa on Aug. 28, 1915. Stoler was a member of the Lutheran church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Leon C.. 214 Blower Avenue; Carl B. and William R., both at home; three daughters, Mrs. Verl Buck, Route 4; Mrs. Aubrey Hawk, Aurosa Vande, Cal., and Mrs. Gerald Davenport, Oakland, la.; one sister, Mrs. Iva Metzger, York, Pa., and seven grandchildren.

His parents and one brother and one son preceded him in death.

Funeral arrangements are being made at Kearns Garden Chapel.
