Frank J. Hayden, 66, 1009 Mulberry Street, died at 11:50 a.m. Sunday in a local hospital as the result of a stroke which he suffered last Wednesday.

The body will be taken from O'Keefe and Towne Mortuary to St. Joseph's Church for funeral service at 9 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Fr. Edmund Slattery officiating. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery.

Frank Hayden was born on October 10, 1865, near Madison, Wisconsin. When he was but two years old, his parents moved to Iowa settling in Elma, Iowa. He married Katherine McGrane there May 6, 1888 and was in the grocery business at Elma until coming to Waterloo in 1915.

Besides the widow, he is survived by three sons, Earl of Elma, Iowa, Charles, 1009 Mulberry Street and Reed Hayden, Elkhart, Indiana.

His sons were all in Waterloo Monday.
