WATERLOO - Karen I. Kroenecke, 70, of Waterloo, died Saturday, March 10, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born Sept. 17, 1941, in Iowa City, daughter of LaVern and Wilma Rinehart Turner. She married Orval H. Kroenecke on Sept. 29, 1961, in Fairbank.

Mrs. Kroenecke was employed at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works and later with Home Shopping Network until retirement.

Survived by her husband; two sons, John (Susan) of Fairbank and Joe of Evansdale; two daughters, Shelly (Jeff Gallery) Jacobs of Waterloo and Teresa (Connie Justice) Kroenecke of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Rachel (Curt) Dellinger and Luke Jacobs; three great-grandchildren, Owen and Madelyn Dellinger, and Anthony Jacobs; and a brother, David (Betty) Turner of Marysville, Calif.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway.

Memorial fund will be established.
