POULIN, WINTLE, JOHNSON, LINDQUIST

WATERLOO — Percy E. Poulin, 84, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Feb. 23, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

He was born March 16, 1927, in Waterville, Maine, son of Phillipe and Elizabeth Wintle Poulin. He married Evelyn M. Johnson Sept. 21, 1955, in Waterloo.

He worked at Sears for 33 years, retiring in 1986. Mr. Poulin served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church where he ushered and served as past trustee, a member of Antique Bottle Club, and a member and past president of Sears Retirees Group.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Vicky Lindquist of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Bradley Lindquist and Michele Werner, both of Waterloo, and Eric Cooper of Phoenix; five great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Shelby Werner, Aria and Elysia Cooper, and Crystal North; and two brothers, Chet (Natalie) and Ron (Ruth), all of Waterville, Maine.

Preceded in death by two sons, Mark S. and Craig P.; and five brothers and sisters.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Food Bank.
