Jeannette L. Seavey

Jeannette was born September 20, 1918, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Leslie Arthur and Hilda (Moreland) Seavey. She died Thursday, April 17, 2003, at the Cedar Falls Healthcare Center.

She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Waterloo. She was employed as a secretary with the Rath Packing Company and later the Hoxie Fruit Company, both in Waterloo.

Jeannette is survived by her brother and his wife, Carleton and Jean Seavey of Cedar Falls; three nephews, Leslie (Ann) Seavey of Cedar Falls and Mike (Nancy) Seavey and Kenneth Seavey Jr., both of Waterloo; and six nieces, Bonnie (Randy) Duvel and Karen and Marvin Petersen, all of Cedar Falls, Kathy Benson and Barbara Noel, both of Waverly, Catherine Hurd of Eldora and Terry Boice of Tucson, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert, Irving and Kenneth (Sr.) Seavey and sister, Genevieve Boice.
