Phyllis I. Lambert, 86, of Evansdale, died Wednesday morning at Allen Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 6, 1922 in Westgate the daughter of Fredrick A. and Minnie E. Miller Hunziker. She married Melvin C. Lambert, Jr., on April 19, 1952 in Manchester.

Phyllis was employed in the Lard and Shortening Department of Rath Packing Co. for 24 years retiring in 1969. She was also the secretary at River'S Edge Christian Church for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband and nieces and nephews..

She was preceded in death by 4 brothers; Leon, Everett, Elmer, and Lloyd, and 1 sister; Gladys L. Peeper.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 8, at Garden View Chapel with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-4 P.M. Sunday and an hour before services Monday.
