Joseph Clark, was born December 27, 1924 in Mason City, Iowa the son of Joseph and Anna F. (Borel) Clark. Joseph died Wednesday, December 2, 1998 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls, Iowa at 73 years of age.

He married Jean Ann Nelsen in 1948 and she preceded him in death in 1979. Joseph married Marion Magee on October 23, 1980 in Waterloo, Iowa. He served in the U. S. Navy during WW II and was a salesman for Globe Industries in Waterloo.

He is survived by his wife Marion of Cedar Falls; his daughter, Vickie Thoman of Manchester, Iowa; his four sons, John Clark of Independence, Iowa, Scott Clark of Wescosville, Pennsylvania and Greg and Thomas Clark, both of Waterloo; three step-daughters, Carol Levine and Laraine Davis, both of Clive, Iowa and Barbara Van Wey of Issaquah, Washington; two step-sons, Wayne Magee of Cedar Falls and Gordon Magee of Woodruff, Wisconsin; ten grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren; two sisters, Ferne Clark of Simpson, Minnesota and Mary Tilton of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Jean Anne and three brothers.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 1998 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Cedar Valley Food Bank or The Salvation Army.
