CEDAR FALLS - Louise M. Meier, 56, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Feb. 18, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

She was born Sept. 13, 1955, in Waterloo, daughter of Donald E. and Mary L. Billick Meier.

Ms. Meier graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1974 and received certified nursing assistant training through Hawkeye Institute of Technology. She was a CNA for more than 34 years, employed at Schoitz Hospital and later Covenant Medical Center.

Survived by her parents of Cedar Falls; and four sisters, Sue Posekany of Woodburn, Cyndy (Mark) Abben of Hudson and Karen Sellers and Kathy Meier, both of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Service, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
