WATERLOO - Anna Elizabeth Jones, 85, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012 at Western Home Communities, Elizabeth E. Martin Center, of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 1, 1926, in Delaware, daughter of Bernard F. and Vera L. Fischer Nachtman. She married Dwight Richard Jones July 1, 1951, in Austin, Minn. He died Nov. 7, 1987.

She graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1944. She was employed at J.C. Penney in the stockroom until her husband's retirement from Rath. They then moved to Mountain Home, Ark., where she worked at Baxter Laboratory in production. She moved back to Waterloo to be closer to her family.

Survived by two sons, Dwight "Rick" (Jeannette) of Fairbank and David of Waterloo; three daughters, Patty (Randy) Kouns of Waterloo, Karen (Bob) Koch of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Diane Baysinger of Jupiter, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Franck of Fairbank.

Preceded in death by twin grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Donald Nachtman; and a daughter-in-law, Roxy Jones.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Western Home Communities Chapel, Cedar Falls, with scattering of ashes at a later date in Mountain Home, Ark. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton family service.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or to Cure Search.

Anna enjoyed crocheting, gardening, games puzzle and word search books. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
