Milton M. Hahn was born April 15, 1917 in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Herman J. and Myrtle (Jennings) Hahn. He died Wednesday, August 11, 1999, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls, at 82 years of age.

He married Helen Vognsen on April 10, 1947 at Washington Chapel in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Milton served with the U.S. Army, in New Guinea for three years, during W.W. II. He worked in the data processing department at Rath Packing Company for twenty years, and was the Director of Data Processing at Shoitz Hospital for many years, retiring in 1984.

He is survived by his wife, Helen of Cedar Falls; his daughter, Robbin Hahn Halverson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his two sons, Jay of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Jan of Waterloo, Iowa; ten grandchildren; three brothers, Kenneth of Concord, Alabama, John of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Charles of Orland, California; and his step-mother, Verna L. Holder of Waterloo.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Weldon and Robert Hahn.

Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 16, 1999, at Trinity Wesleyan Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.

Memorials may be directed to the church or the family.
