MORGAN, GRONWOLDT, DOLASH

WATERLOO - Virginia H. Morgan, 73, of the Western Home Communities, Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 9, 1938, in Waterloo, daughter of Delmer and Elda Gronwoldt Dolash. She married Earl B. Morgan on Jan. 17, 1959, in Waterloo. He died March 30, 1993.

Mrs. Morgan graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1955. She received her bachelor's and master's degree in education from the Universityof Northern Iowa in 1972. She taught elementary and middle school for several years in the Waterloo School District at Lincoln, Roosevelt, Kittrell and Hoover Schools, retiring in 1993. She served on the board and volunteered at Cedar Valley Hospice, Cedar Net, EPI, and CHIPS Gymnastics.

Survived by three sons, Donald (Kay) of Tucson, Ariz., Richard (Mary Beck) of Janesville and Keith (Michele) of Story City; three grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, and Justin; and a brother, Richard (Sharon) Dolash of Altoona.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Family services: will be held at a later date. Her body has been donated to the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice and the American Cancer Society.
