JOHNATHON STRAYER

Johnathon Brett Strayer, 29, died Saturday, January 8, 2000 at his home in Evansdale.

John was born April 28, 1970 in Des Moines. His parents are Philip Dennis and Celia Ann Strayer of Hudson. He attended Hudson High School, graduating in 1988, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa in 1992. He was employed as a production scheduler at Omega Cabinets. Social involvements included choir, Sunday school teacher, church treasure, athletics, music, and he was known for being a hard worker and one who cared for children.

Surviving are his parents; a brother, Bert Strayer of Hudson; a sister Sara Strayer of Cedar Falls, and grandmother Edna Hammond of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa, in infancy, and three grandparents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 Friday at the Hudson United Methodist Church with burial in Hudson Cemetery.
