FUNERAL SERVICES TUESDAY FOR A. M. HARMON

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Johannsen-Rossow Funeral Home for Albert Milton Harmon, 83, who passed away Saturday, Feb. 3, at Williams Rest Home where he had been a patient since last November. Death was due to complications.

Mr. Harmon was born Oct. 12, 1878 at Joplin, Mo., the son of David and Mary Jefferies Harmon. He came to this vicinity when he was a child and lived here ever since. He had been a member of the IOOF lodge for forty years. Mr. Harmon was preceded in death by his parents and three wives.

Among those surviving are a son, Perry of Waterloo; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Stabler of Kewanee, Ill.; five sisters, Mrs. Elsie Christian of Waterloo, Mrs. Grace Winchell of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Lora Christian, Mason City, Mrs. Rose Purdy and Mrs. Frank Powers of LaPorte City; one brother, Ira Harmon, La Porte City; two grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: John Miller, Clifford Purdy, Everett Fox, Grover Parks, George Joens and Max Taylor, all of here.

Burial took place in Pleasant Hill cemetery, east of LaPorte City.
