MRS. HAROLD CHANNON

Funeral services for Mrs. Harold Channon, 68, of 1161 Liberty Avenue, who died in her home Friday morning of a heart condition, will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Valley View Baptist Church, Cedar Falls, and at the same time Tuesday in the Dahlstrum Funeral Home at Des Moines with burial there in the Highland Memorial Part Cemetery. Friends may call any time at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home.

Mrs. Channon was born Zola Smith July 31, 1902, in Taylor County, daughter of Francis and Cora Hudson Smith, and was married at Des Moines to Harold Channon.

He survives as do one son, Philip, of 230 Gayle Street; three grandchildren; two brothers, Jack and Ted Smith of Des Moines; five sisters, Mrs. Martina Payseur, Mrs. Bernice Gillespie, Mrs. Nadine Haughey, all of Des Moines, and Mrs. Alfreda Van Gordon of Boise, Idaho.

Other survivors include her mother, Mrs. Cora Smith, also of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her father.
