WATERLOO - McArthur Brown, 68, of Waterloo, died Monday, Jan. 2, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

He was born Dec. 2, 1943, in West, Miss., son of George Wallace and Lillie Mae Bailey Brown.

He was employed at West, Miss., saw mills in the lumber industry, before coming to Waterloo in 1990.

Survived by two sisters, Louise Wade of West and Millie of Syracuse, N.Y.

Preceded in death by a brother, John T.; and a sister, Venus Mary Williams.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Greer Funeral Home, with burial at a later date in West. Public visitation will be held for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
