Services are held Friday morning for Carol Briddle, 54

Funeral services for Carol Briddle, 54, 118 Celeste, were held Friday, May 22, 1992, at 10 a.m., at the Hudson United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Hudson Cemetery.

Mrs. Briddle passed away Tuesday evening at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born August 8, 1937 at Waterloo, the daughter of Oscar and Borghild Olsen Hansen. On August 24, 1957, she was married to Paul G. Briddle at Cedar Falls.

She graduated from West High in Waterloo in 1955 and was employed at Hudson State Bank, now Waterloo Savings Bank, for the past eighteen years. She was past President of the Iowa AMVETS Auxiliary in 1979-1980.

She is survived by four sons, Scott of Hudson, Daniel of La Vergne, Tennessee, David of Des Moines, and James of Hudson; one daughter, Gail Briddle of Waterloo; six grandchildren; one brother, Chris Hansen of Waterloo and one sister, Lillian Silveira of Clear Lake, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband on May 24, 1990, two brothers, Leroy and Robert and one sister, Grace Lorenzen.
