WATERLOO - Clarice E. Crouse, 83, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Nov. 8, 1928, in Lime Springs, daughter of Curtis and Emma Begeman Tibbals. She married Darrell F. Crouse May 9, 1948, in Chester.

She graduated from Chester High School in 1946. She taught art classes in her home from 1979-93.

Survived by her husband; a daughter, Julie Kime of Independence; two sisters, Tressa Alberts of Lime Springs and Frances of Lennox, S.D.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Alberts and Effie Morris; and a brother, Curtis Tibbals.

Family-directed memorial services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Presbyterian Church. There will be no visitation.
