CEDAR FALLS - Carroll L. Bonney, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Dec. 26.

He was born Sept. 30, 1926, in Newton, son of Arley and Pauline Shelton Bonney. He married Eva G. Miller on Feb. 8, 1947, in Cedar Falls.

Mr. Bonney served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He attended Hawkeye Institute of Technology and was employed as a tool and die maker with Viking Pump Co., retiring in 1989.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Cathy (Robert) Cooper of Cedar Falls; a son, Scott (Jolene) of Ankeny; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a brother, Darrell.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Service, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.

A memorial fund will be designated at a later date.
