WATERLOO — Julie Marie Wilson, 45, died Friday, Dec. 23, at Promise Regional Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 23, 1966 in Waterloo, daughter of Ron and Wilma Schmidt Frost. She married her husband, Brian Wilson.

She graduated from Don Bosco High School in 1985 and from the University of Northern Iowa in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.She was a second-grade teacher at Buhler Grade School from 1990-2011.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.

Survived by her husband; a daughter, Kayci Wilson; her mother, of Gilbertville; four sisters, Lori Frost of North Liberty, Kim Fischels of Elk Run Heights, Deb Schultz of Waterloo and Michelle Stroh of Gilbertville; and a brother, Greg Frost of Dysart.

Preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Mark Frost.

Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson. Visitation from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be directed to Victory in the Valley or Cancer Council of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
