WATERLOO - Emma K. Stevenson, 95, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Dec. 23, at Cedar Falls Health Care Center.

She was born Nov. 22, 1916, in Howard County, daughter of George and Anna Coufal Souhrada. She married Clarence J. Stevenson March 30, 1937, in Cresco. He died Dec. 8, 1981.

She worked in the smoked meat department of Rath Packing Co. for nine years.

Survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Cox of Evansdale and Ruth (Jerry) Steward of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a sister, Anna Merrill; and three brothers, George Jr., Frank and William Souhrada.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Edward Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and will continue for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
