Mrs. Margaret Crowther

Mrs. Margaret Crowther, a resident of Waterloo, Iowa, for the past three years, and mother of A. H. Crowther, died this morning at 5 o'clock, of old age, at Owatonna, Minnesota, to which place she went several weeks ago on a visit. She was 77 years of age.

Mrs. Crowther's home is at 449 Columbia Street, this city. It will be remembered that she fell from the porch at a neighbor's house last summer and broke one of her legs, and was taken to the hospital where she received treatment until just before going to Minnesota where she was to spend the winter with relatives. A couple of weeks ago she suffered a nervous attack, supposed to be due to the injury to her limb, and this is what hastened her death.

She was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist church in this city, and made a large number of friends during her residence in Waterloo, who will regret to hear of her death.

The funeral and burial will occur at Osage on Saturday, the former home of the family. The son, A. H. Crowther, will go to that place Saturday to attend the service.
