WATERLOO - Barbara J. Morgan, 87, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, Dec. 4, at Allen Hospital.

She was born July 1, 1924, in Rochester, Minn., daughter of Alvin and Ethel Stevenson Loppnow. She married Gale L. Morgan on March 13, 1943, in Cedar Falls. He died Nov. 30, 2003.

Mrs. Morgan was the secretary to the pastor of Falls Avenue Wesleyan, Sunnyside Temple and Cedar Valley Community Church for 30 years.

Survived by two sons, Robert and Daryl (Kathy), both of Waterloo; a daughter, Gail Ann (Craig) Barber of Waterloo; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a grandson, Troy Barber.

Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Cedar Valley Community Church, with inurnment in Waterloo Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
