WATERLOO - Esther L. Wolfgram, 93, of Waterloo, died Friday, Dec. 2, at New Aldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls.

She was born May 25, 1918, in Readlyn, daughter of John and Bertha Schweer Thurm. She married Paul F. Wolfgram Dec. 2, 1938, in Readlyn. He died April 17, 1991.

Survived by a son, Galen (Millie Droste) of Dublin, Ohio; two daughters, Lavonne (Gene) Kempe of Richmond, Texas, and Diane (Gary) Hansen of Waterloo; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Ervin and Roy Thurm; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church or Gideons International.
