WATERLOO, IOWA - Luella F. Hart, 91, of Waterloo, died Thursday, December 1, 2011, at Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

She was born September 27, 1920, in Zion City, Illinois, daughter of R. Harold and Cornelia Youmans Cutler. She married Eddie Hart March 10, 1944. He was declared missing in action in Germany during World War II, while serving in the U.S. Army.

She graduated from Waterloo East High School. Mrs. Hart worked at Powers Manufacturing in Waterloo for 35 years, retiring in 1985, and was a member of Linden United Methodist Church.

Survived by: a daughter, Linda Stattelman of Newton; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a grandson; two great-grandsons; and four sisters, Rose Medd, Hazel Myers, Myrtle Calhoun and Estella Jackson.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, Waterloo, with burial at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be held for two hours before services Monday at the funeral home.
