Lola M. Dix, 90, of the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home died there Sunday, February 6, 2005. She was born on November 29, 1914 in Greene, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Adeline (Fick) Ellerman.

Lola attended college in Des Moines. She married Kermit L. Dix November 22, 1941 in Waverly, IA. He died on March 2, 1986. She was Past President of PTA at Orange Township School.

Lola is survived by her 3 daughters, Jacqueline Durnin of Waterloo, Darlys Warns of Waterloo, and Connie Dix of Flossmoor, IL; 8 grandchildren, Brenda Deuth, Michelle Hansen, Neil Hammargren, Jill Stewart, Gregory Warns, Matthew Warns, Nicole Hill-Podraza, and Andrew Dix-Hill; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Irving Ellerman of Waverly; sister, Lucille Folkers of Allison; three sisters-in-law: Dawn Cheney of Greene, Twila Smith of Greene, and Audrey Dix of Greene.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Eldon Ellerman.
