WATERLOO — Thomas F. Howe, 76, of Waterloo, died Friday, Nov. 25, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born Nov. 29, 1934, in Dubuque, son of Frank and Lillian Ploung Howe. He married Merle Hastings on April 12, 1958, in Waterloo.

Mr. Howe owned and operated Siebert’s Laundry and Dry Cleaning for many years until retirement.

Survived by his wife; two daughters, Kathy (Jim) Clark of Parkersburg and Connie (Dave) Weber of McKinney, Texas; and three grandchildren, Jimmy Clark and Stephen and Sarah Weber.

Preceded in death by a grandson, Thomas Summerhays; and two sisters, Janet Howe and Patricia Oaks.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, where full military rites will be conducted by Evansdale AMVETS Post 31, Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and the Iowa Army Honor Guard. Inurnment will be in the Mount Olivet Columbariam. Public visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
