CEDAR FALLS - Lois M. Muller, 87, of Cedar Falls, died at home Monday, Nov. 14.

She was born Oct. 18, 1924, in rural Grundy Center, daughter of John J. and Elizabeth Hillygus Peters. She married Andrew C. Muller on Oct. 4, 1943, in Lancaster, Mo.

Mrs. Muller attended school in Colfax Township and worked as a hired girl for area families until her marriage. She was later employed by the Cedar Falls School District in food service for 22 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls.

Survived by her husband; a son, Roger (Janean) of Levan, Utah; two daughters, Marlene (Rodger) Kruger and Diane Muller, both of Cedar Falls; a grandson; three great-grandsons; a great-great-grandson; three stepgrandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, Ivan (Becky) Peters of Batavia and Ronald (Sharon) Peters of Tripoli; a sister, Marian Bundy of Cedar Falls; a brother-in-law, Vernon Petersen of Cedar Falls; and three sisters-in-law, Minnie Klingenborg of Le Roy, Minn., LaVerne Peters of Albert Lea, Minn., and Karen Casto of Liberty, W.Va.

Preceded in death by five brothers, Herbert, Duane, Edwin, Don and LaVerne Peters; three sisters, Lorraine Peters, Marlys Petersen and Janice Huebner; two brothers-in-law, Jim Bundy and Kenneth Huebner; and a great-granddaughter.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Service, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
