WATERLOO - Robert W. "Bob" Miller, 86, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Nov. 13, of natural causes.

He was born May 23, 1925, in Pocahontas, son of William C. and Marian Teresa Herbert Miller. He married Margaret Mary Meyers on Oct. 5, 1946, in Dubuque. She died Oct. 1, 1990.

Mr. Miller graduated from Sacred Heart High School, Pocahontas, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a carrier, retiring in 1987.

Survived by two sons, William J. of Waterloo and Michael R. (Jan) of Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Patricia M. (Doug) Holcomb of Waterloo; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation also for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
