Lorna Ruckdaschel passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She recently moved to San Diego from Wichita, Kan., to be closer to family.

Lorna was united in marriage to Ricky Ruckdaschel in 1972 and lived in Waterloo and Wichita.

They were blessed with two children, Eric and Erin. Lorna loved her family and was heavily involved in their activities throughout the years. Gardening and a love for animals were other passions of Lorna's.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick.

She is survived by her son, Eric (Keegan); her daughter, Erin; three grandchildren, Charlie, Ella and Teddy; and a sister, Linda Baldwin.

There will be a memorial service Saturday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. at the Tierrasanta Lutheran Church.

Memorials may be given to Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67218 or the Humane Society.
