WATERLOO - Shirley J. Webber, 81, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Nov. 6, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 6, 1929, in Williamsport, Pa., daughter of William A. and Helena Gottschall Boring. She married James E. Webber on May 19, 1949, in St. Joseph, Mo. He died June 21, 1988.

Survived by two sons, Bill (Cheryl) of Waterloo and James "Skeeter" Jr. (Vicky) of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Nanette Buchanan of Wellman and Marty (Rick) Fangman of Gilbertville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jane Ackerson of Waterloo and June (Harley) Harms of Minnesota.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Claire Shouse and Dorothy Gutknecht.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today and for an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
